Uncle Col (Marra) Clark is a Barkindji Ngiyampaa man. The joy that making his art gives him, he wishes to pass that on to anyone collecting a piece of his work. 

"I am a late starter in the art world where I stand today. Around 52 years ago, I started to learn and appreciate the world of art. So much has been changed in my life as an Aboriginal man. Deep cultural connection, knowledge of the wood I use, gathering of the wood for example, I still go back home to Wilcannia to get wood, mulga, leopard, red gum and others l use."
