Josh Muir (1991 - 2022) was a proud Yorta Yorta, Gunditjmara and Barkindji man, born and raised on Wadawurrung Country in Ballarat, Victoria. During his career, Josh produced a vast range of paintings and digital artworks. He embraced digital methods of production and a visual language influenced by street art and a pop aesthetic, to produce vibrant works of art that maintain the continuous tradition of storytelling that is inseparable from his cultural identity.
